Power Up: Unite for a safer electric utility future at the 2025 Safety Conference
May 21-23, 2025 | Tempe, AZ

Join us for the premier conference on electric utility safety, where we will explore the dynamic and evolving challenges of keeping our industry safe. This conference is more than a gathering of electric energy professionals—it's a collaborative platform to share knowledge and expertise. Together, we’ll uncover innovative solutions, share best practices, and work towards minimizing risks across the industry. Be part of shaping a safer future through innovation, education, and collective commitment to excellence.

Who Should Attend

Those involved with safety in the electric energy industry. Primarily safety managers, safety directors, safety program coordinators for generation and T&D. All personnel with responsibility for the development, implementation, monitoring and oversight of safety programs. Safety consultants for electrical utilities. Supervisors and crew foreman. Lineman and operations personnel with an interest in on-the-job personal safety. Individuals with other backgrounds are also welcome to learn about electric utility industry safety.

Continuing Education Certificates

Upon completion of the workshop, attendees will receive a continuing education certificate worth 10.0 Professional Development Hours (PDHs) in their online Alltricity Network profile. PDHs may be applied toward recertification credit. Typically, 1.0 PDH is equal to .1 CEU, but that conversion scale should always be confirmed with the certifying body attendees are affiliated with.

Keynote Address: What Makes You Tick?
To achieve career satisfaction in safety, you must be self-aware of what is most important to you. To be an effective safety leader, you need to know what drives you? What motivates you? What defines your style? In other words, what makes you tick? This talk highlights 7 values that have molded my approach to leading safety in construction and manufacturing environments. My goal is to help participants develop their personal core values and leadership style so that they can lead effectively.
