Hosted prior to the 2025 Alltricity Network Spring Conference Are you an emerging leader in the electric utility industry? Do you mentor colleagues eager to grow and shape the future? Join the Next Generation Pre-Conference Workshop to strengthen your leadership skills, navigate change, and expand your network. The 2025 workshop theme is “Leading Through Change: Overcoming Resistance and Driving Success.” This interactive event will introduce you to many change management concepts and strategies to manage the change cycle, resistance, communication, and build support networks to drive growth—both personally and within your organization. The Next Generation Pre-Conference Workshop is designed for emerging leaders, and those who manage or mentor future utility industry leaders. Continuing Education Certificates Upon completion of the workshop, attendees will receive a continuing education certificate worth 3.0 Professional Development Hours (PDHs) in their online Alltricity Network profile. PDHs may be applied toward recertification credit. Typically, 1.0 PDH is equal to .1 CEU, but that conversion scale should always be confirmed with the certifying body attendees are affiliated with.

Tiffany SodemanSr. Culture & Organizational Change Management (OCM) Consultant, Salt River Project
Tiffany Sodeman is a seasoned Culture and Change Management Professional with over 20 years of experience. At CVS Health, she assisted in the federal implementation of HIPAA. She spent eight years at PetSmart corporate, leading a team of L&D professionals and establishing a Change Community of Practice department. During her eight years with SRP, she led change efforts for the RTW (Re-entry to the Workplace) Program, supports One SRP Safety, the Safety Leadership Team and Safety Services, in addition to other projects within Health Services, HR, and IT. Tiffany prides herself in asking the tough questions that people don't always have answers for (yet), and building strong relationships through understanding and empathy. Outside of work, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her 2-year-old Grandson, who is the light of her life, and participating in animal rescue. She holds a bachelor’s degree in behavioral science, a master’s in human dynamics and organizational psychology, and an M.B.A. She also enjoys reading psychology journals, and literature. Katie HoneyDirector of Reliability Engineering—Renewables, Xcel Energy
Kaitlyn (Katie) Honey recently stepped into the role of Director of Reliability Engineering over Xcel Energy's renewables fleet, including wind, solar, BESS, and hydro. Previously, she served as Director of Analytics and Practices in the Energy Supply business unit for Xcel Energy, dedicated to the development and implementation of Asset Performance Management methodology and the utilization of data and predictive analytics to optimize maintenance practices, monitor equipment health, and optimize risk versus cost across Xcel’s generation fleet. Katie has also served as the Manager of the Equipment & System Analytics team responsible for Asset Performance Management implementation, including fleet condition monitoring, machinery diagnostics and balancing, health and risk analytics, and maintenance optimization. She began her career with Xcel Energy as a Plant Engineer at the Combined Cycle Fort Saint Vrain Station in Platteville, Colorado. Katie was the recipient of the 2021 Alltricity Network Emerging Leader Award and is currently a member of the Alltricity Network Generation Committee. She holds a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Wyoming and is a Certified Reliability Leader (CRL) through the Association of Asset Management Professionals. Spencer GarlandSr. Manager of Gas Generation, Tri-State Generation & Transmission Association, Inc.
Spencer Garland works in the cooperative power utility industry and is also a real estate investor providing him a diverse background in engineering, project management and business. He currently serves as the Senior Manager of Gas Generation for Tri-State Generation & Transmission, Inc. in Westminster, CO. Previously, Spencer also worked as the Sr. Manager of Financial Project Controls, as a Generation Engineering Manager, in charge of the engineering group that services Tri-State’s gas and coal generating assets, and as a Turbine/Generator Engineer and Reliability Engineer at two large power stations. He is deeply involved in the Alltricity Network trade organization, acting as the Chair of the Next Generation Power Pioneers Committee and former Vice Chair of the Generation Committee. Additionally, Spencer has over a decade of philanthropic experience through his service on the John P. Ellbogen Foundation Board of Directors, where he currently serves as Vice President. Spencer attended the University of Wyoming, obtaining his B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2011 and 2012, respectively. Spencer and his family live in Steamboat Springs, CO. Pricing

The Member's Only Early Bird registration rate ended on March 21.
Cancellation & Refund Policy: 100% of fees are refundable if cancellation is received 29 days or more before the event date. If cancellation is received between 28 and 14 days before the event date, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received 13 days or less before the event date, including no-shows.
