Future of Generation Conference
Explore how technology, regulations, and demand growth are reshaping generation strategies and daily operations
November 17, 2025 | Tempe, AZ
What will our power system look like in 5 to 10 years, to reliably respond to unprecedented load growth? And what does that future picture mean for the choices we face now—both in long-term strategy and in today’s daily operations? The Future of Generation Conference brings together utility leaders and energy professionals to explore how evolving technologies, regulatory shifts, and emerging large loads like data centers are reshaping generation planning. This conference will examine how the industry is navigating uncertainty around regulations, supply chain restraints, system reliability and technological advancements. Topics will include the future role of nuclear and natural gas, energy storage, new and emerging technologies, and the increasing importance of scenario planning and integrated system planning. From policy direction and extreme equipment lead times to innovative solutions on the horizon, this forward-looking conference is designed to spark practical insights and collaboration, helping attendees connect big-picture trends to the decisions, priorities, and problem-solving they face every day. Who Should Attend
This event is ideal for utility leaders, generation and operations managers, planners, analysts, and regulatory professionals, as well as engineers, technology specialists, and supply chain managers. Industry consultants and solution providers supporting generation planning, operations, and innovation will also benefit from the insights and connections gained. Individuals with other backgrounds are also welcome to join and learn. Continuing Education Certificates
Upon completion of the conference, attendees will receive a continuing education certificate worth 7.0 Professional Development Hours (PDHs) in their online Alltricity Network profile. PDHs may be applied toward recertification credit. Typically, 1.0 PDH is equal to .1 CEU, but that conversion scale should always be confirmed with the certifying body attendees are affiliated with. Maximize your experience and join us the following day for the November 2025 Golf Tournament, hosted by the Alltricity Scholarship Foundation. It's a great chance to connect, unwind, and enjoy Arizona's beautiful weather—all while supporting scholarships for future industry professionals! Spots are still available on a first-come, first-served basis. Golf registration ends November 12. Learn More about the Golf Tournament ![]() Location
