Erik Rios Receives Alltricity Network's 2025 Emerging Leader Award CENTENNIAL, Colorado — Erik Rios, Engineering Supervisor—System Protection, Arizona Public Service (APS), received the 2025 Emerging Leader Award from the Alltricity Network at its 2025 Spring Conference, held May 5–7 in Dallas, TX. The Emerging Leader Award honors Alltricity Network members with 5–10 years of industry experience who have shown strong leadership potential, made significant contributions to their organizations, and serve the electric utility industry with distinction.
Erik’s leadership is evident in his proactive problem-solving and commitment to excellence. He has demonstrated leadership and mentorship by volunteering for the Rotational Engineering (RE) program to recruit, select, and mentor the next generation of engineers at APS. His mentorship of junior engineers, combined with his technical expertise, showcases his natural ability to lead and inspire, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. His contributions to the RE program have resulted in four years of fully staffed entry-level positions, making it APS’s strongest engineering talent pipeline, supporting an evolving workforce.
