Nicholas Lee Receives Alltricity Network's 2025 Emerging Leader Award CENTENNIAL, Colorado — Nicholas Lee, Operations Manager—Water Systems, Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD), received the 2025 Emerging Leader Award from the Alltricity Network at its 2025 Spring Conference, held May 5–7 in Dallas, TX. The Emerging Leader Award honors Alltricity Network members with 5–10 years of industry experience who have shown strong leadership potential, made significant contributions to their organizations, and serve the electric utility industry with distinction.
Nicholas leads a team of 11 and manages multiple facilities which includes the budgeting for capital and maintenance activities, future rate outlook planning, daily operations at the facilities, and overseeing all the water management for NPPD. He plays a key role in working safely as the lockout/tagout lead for the Water Systems/Renewable Energy areas. His responsibilities directly support the NPPD initiative for cost competitiveness and maintaining station equipment availability. Nicholas is recognized as an exceptional performer throughout NPPD and all those he works with internally, along with other water districts in the state, recognize his effort.
