Tony Montoya Receives Alltricity Network's 2025 Honorary Life Member Award
ENGLEWOOD, Colorado — Tony Montoya, Retired Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at Western Area Power Administration, received the 2025 Honorary Life Member Award from the Alltricity Network at its 2025 Fall Convention, held September 29-October 1 in Kansas City, MO.

The Honorary Life Member Award honors retired individuals for their years of dedicated service, esteemed reputation, and lasting contributions to the association, their organization, and the electric utility industry.
 
Before retiring, Tony oversaw day-to-day operations delivering 10,000 MW of hydroelectric power across 17,000 miles of high voltage transmission and 325 substations to more than 600 wholesale communities. He also served 10 years on the RMEL (now Alltricity Network) Board, including as President in 2016. His 40-year career and continued active engagement in the utility sector demonstrate his deep commitment to the industry and the people he has served. Tony’s influence and contributions are evident across the many platforms where he has shared his expertise and knowledge with the electric utility industry.
