Rick Hillis Receives Alltricity Network's 2025 Honorary Life Member Award
ENGLEWOOD, Colorado — Rick Hillis, Retired Vice President of Transmission System Support at Tri-State Generation & Transmission Association, Inc., received the 2025 Honorary Life Member Award from the Alltricity Network at its 2025 Fall Convention, held September 29-October 1 in Kansas City, MO.

The Honorary Life Member Award honors retired individuals for their years of dedicated service, esteemed reputation, and lasting contributions to the association, their organization, and the electric utility industry.

With a 37-year career in the high-voltage and electric power utility industries, including 27 years in leadership roles, Rick has built a legacy of technical excellence and advocacy. Before retiring, he oversaw telecommunications, revenue metering and data management systems, power system protection, and technical analysis—ensuring a reliable, cost-based supply of electricity while upholding cooperative principles. Rick’s enduring commitment to advancing the industry is reflected in his active support of utility education and networking initiatives, including two years of dedicated service on the RMEL (now Alltricity Network) Board.
