About the Webinar

Mentoring & Educating the Future Power Engineering "Generation" for Success

Presented by: Michael CallejoSupervisor Engineering & Design Services - Substation Design, Salt River Project and Mihai MoreaPE, PMP, Principal Engineer - Civil Engineering Services, Salt River Project

The ever-evolving nature of the world presents Leadership with a myriad of challenges. These challenges stem from diverse organizational and industry philosophies, constant technological advancements, changing environmental factors, and ever-increasing end-user expectations. Navigating through these complexities can determine whether a project team is adequately prepared for success or persistently struggling to find solutions.

Presenters will dive deeper and provide individual perspectives from two distinct career tracks - individual contributor and supervision - on how Leadership can support the next Power Engineering generation in attracting, training, and retaining team members to become confident and successful. The webinar will try to explore the positive aspects of mentoring, education, and finding passion and drive within the team, aiming to build upon the already strong foundation of knowledge and shape individuals to be better, both personally and for the Organization.
