About the NextGeneration Power Pioneer Committee and the Pre-Conference Workshop:

NextGeneration Power Pioneer Committee Mission Statement: Pioneering the energy transformation through education, collaboration, and leadership empowerment for the electric industry’s next generation

Established by the RMEL Board of Directors in 2023, the NextGeneration Power Pioneer Committee's purpose includes:

  • Promoting careers, growing interest, and transferring industry information, knowledge, and experience to the next generation of electric energy professionals.

  • Being an example of next generation success in this industry and encouraging newer professionals to stay in the field longer.

  • Demonstrating the ability to get into leadership roles earlier in career and showing how those newer to the industry can be a part of something big amongst sea change.

  • Developing and fostering a peer group outside members’ own organization, with similar ambitions, and creating a community to share experiences and lessons learned.

The RMEL NextGeneration Power Pioneer Committee is pleased to announce a Spring Pre-Conference Workshop for the electric energy industry's next generation.

Are you an aspiring leader in the electric energy field? Do you mentor a colleague earlier in their career and who is driven to contribute to the industry's future at your organization? If so, you and your colleagues are encouraged to attend the NextGeneration Power Pioneer Pre-Conference Workshop for the opportunity to develop both supervisor and individual contributor leadership skills and network with others in the industry.
